Ethics and Boundaries Distance Learning Offered for Human Service Professionals

RELEASED: April 11, 2005

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will present "Ethics and Boundaries for Human Services Professionals" at six locations. The programs meet the requirements of social workers for the two-year rotation ending June 30, 2005, as well as the CEU criteria for marriage and family therapists and psychologists.

Following are the dates and sites:

  • April 28 — UW-Stout (origination) and Fox Valley Technical College Neenah (receive)
  • May 10 — UW-La Crosse (origination) and Nicolet College Rhinelander (receive)
  • June 27 — UW-Eau Claire (origination) and UW-Madison (receive)

These learning opportunities are compressed-video broadcasts. The instructor and

one class are at the origination site, another class is located at the receive site. Each site can see and talk to each other in real time, so all classes meet requirements for continuing education for social workers.

Classes begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. No lunch will be served; please bring your own. All classes are $85 each and offer 4 contact hours (.4 CEUs).
