Winterim at UW-Eau Claire![]()
MAILED: Dec. 10, 2002
EAU CLAIRE — There are still spaces available in some of the nearly 60 courses being offered during the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s 2003 Winterim, a three-week session that runs Jan. 2-17.
Jan Morse, administrative officer for academic affairs, said currently enrolled students and special students — including those not currently enrolled at UW-Eau Claire — can register until Dec. 27. Most classes meet every day for three hours, and all classes will meet Saturday, Jan. 4.
ECON 103, “Principles of MicroEconomics,” and ECON 104, “Principles of Macroeconomics,” for example, still have seats available for those looking to fulfill some general education requirements, said Morse. Those looking for something a bit different might want to consider enrolling in ENGL 290, “Images of Women in Contemporary Literature,” or AIS 330, “Indigenious Religions of the Americas.”
Information about these and other course offerings with seats still available is on UW-Eau Claire’s Web site, www.uwec.edu/course/Sched/wtrminfo.htm, and on the Blugold System. For more information, call the Registration and Scheduling office at (715) 836-2425.
