UW-Eau Claire Education Students
Thank Local Schools for Support

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student Wisconsin Education Association is celebrating American Education Week, Nov. 18 to 22, by reaching out to local schools.
         SWEA is collecting school supplies from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, through Thursday, Nov. 21, in Davies Center. Supplies collected will be distributed next August to children in the Eau Claire area who receive free or reduced hot lunches. 
         The organization is also showing their appreciation to local schools by sending out letters to thank the schools for their commitment to education and for allowing UW-Eau Claire students to gain experience by student teaching, said SWEA president Kelly Anthony.
