U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors
To Perform Free Concert at UW-Eau Claire

         EAU CLAIRE — The United States Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Zorn Arena at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The concert, presented by the UW-Eau Claire Bands, Leader Telegram and University Centers and Programs, will appeal to all ages.
         The 19-member big band performs repertoire including big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals and patriotic selections.
         The Jazz Ambassadors, formed in 1969, have received great acclaim both at home and abroad, performing America’s original art form — jazz. The band has appeared in all fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India and throughout Europe.
         Free tickets are available at Leader-Telegram offices in Menomonie, Chippewa Falls or Eau Claire or by completing and mailing the order form in the Leader Telegram.
