UW-Eau Claire Residence Halls
To Welcome Trick or Treaters

MAILED: Oct. 23, 2002

EAU CLAIRE  A number of University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire residence halls will sponsor trick or treating for Eau Claire children in elementary school and younger from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
Both Murray and Katherine Thomas Halls will offer lobby-only trick or treating. In Bridgman, Chancellors, Governors, Oak Ridge, Putnam, Towers North and Towers South, participants will be able to go door to door throughout the buildings. Participating rooms will be marked with door decorations saying, “Trick or Treaters Welcome.”
Letters have been sent to area elementary schools inviting students to the event. Parents and children will meet in the residence hall lobbies throughout the evening, and guides will lead children through the halls. Parents are welcome to accompany their children or wait for them in the lobbies.
UW-Eau Claire residence halls have been organizing trick or treating for Eau Claire community children for more than 10 years.
For more information, contact Linda Pratt, residence hall director, Oak Ridge Hall, at (715) 836-3214.
