MAILED: Sept. 17, 2002
EAU CLAIRE — The Adult Opportunity Office at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will be hosting a Community Information Night from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in Room 177 of the Human Sciences and Services Building on Water Street.
This introductory information session, being offered for the first time, is for community members considering taking courses next spring semester at UW-Eau Claire. The session will allow participants to start the process of applying for admission as part- or full-time degree-seeking students, or prepare them to register as non-degree special students at Community Registration Night in January.
Information will be available on the university’s programs and majors, degree requirements, course offerings, application process, financial aid, certificate programs, continuing education opportunities and general campus services and resources.
The program is free and no pre-registration is necessary. Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the building on Water Street in Eau Claire. For more information, call Rita Webb, adult opportunity adviser at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at (715) 836-3259.
