German Art Students to
Perform at UW-Eau Claire

         EAU CLAIRE — The German Art Students will perform three free concerts Sept. 19-21 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The performances will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin of Davies Center.
         The Madison-area band consists of Annelies Howell (vocals, guitar and keyboard), Kirk Wall (guitar), Andy Larson (bass) and Randy Ballwahn (drums). Together, The German Art Students craft songs with lyrics that are witty without being smug, intelligent without being pretentious. Joyful and energetic, they exemplify what a pop show should be — a good time.
         The shows are open to all ages. Soft drinks, domestic and imported beer, wine coolers and popcorn will be sold. Proof of age is required for alcohol purchases.
         The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
