UW-Eau Claire to Hold
Community Registration Night Aug. 29

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will be holding a Community Registration Night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, in Schofield Hall for community members interested in taking classes as special students during the fall 2002 semester.
         A list of open classes will be available, and university staff will be on hand to help community members select and enroll in a class that matches their interests, needs and abilities. Participants also will have the opportunity to talk to business and financial aid staff about payment options, rent or buy textbooks, buy a parking permit and get a student ID. A $100 deposit is required at registration.
         Returning the necessary forms and paying the required deposit by Aug. 22 can expedite registration. For a registration packet, call (715) 836-2425.
         Community members who are eligible to register as tuition-free auditors should call (715) 836-2425 for special instructions and registration times.
         Free parking will be available in all of the campus lots during the registration session.
