Jane Linton Hired As Jumpstart
Coordinator at UW-Eau Claire

         EAU CLAIRE  A professional with nearly 10 years experience working with children and their families was hired as the coordinator of the Jumpstart Eau Claire program at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
         As coordinator, Jane Linton is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Jumpstart program.
         Linton was the director of UW-Eau Claire's Children's Center from 1995-2001. Prior to joining UW-Eau Claire's staff, she worked for the Literacy Volunteers of America and the Family Literacy Program in Eau Claire.
         Jumpstart is a national non-profit organization that engages young people in service to work toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed. Jumpstart recruits, trains and supports college students to serve as part-time AmeriCorps members, working directly with and supporting young children in Head Start and other early childhood education programs.
         Linton earned her master's degree from UW-Stout and her bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
