Gym, Swim and Dance Camp
Offered at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE — Children ages 6 to
12 can enjoy fun and instructional activities at the University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire's 2001 summer Gym, Swim and Dance Camp July 22-Aug. 2.
The camp will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
at the McPhee Physical Education Center on the upper campus of UW-Eau Claire.
Gymnastics, swimming and dance will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and
Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be optional days, offering a choice of
three of the following activities: gymnastics, swimming, dance, soccer and
cooperative games.
Groups, which will contain a maximum of 40
students and be organized on the basis of age and ability, will participate in
three 50-minute activities daily. The activities are instructional, with a bit
of competition to stimulate interest and excitement. The camp encourages a
positive attitude about physical fitness and teaches youth the value of
increasing flexibility and strength and establishing habits for a lifetime of
health and fitness.
Tuition for the camp is $130. Enrollment is
on a first-come, first-served basis. To guarantee participation, registrants
must send at least a $35 nonrefundable deposit with their registration forms.
