EAU CLAIRE — An experienced professional who has worked in student services for more than a decade has been named director of University Centers and Programs at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
E. Mitchell Kilcrease will begin his duties July 15 at UW-Eau Claire.
As director of University Centers and Programs, Kilcrease will be responsible for managing and operating Davies Center, the University Arena and Schofield Auditorium. Kilcrease also will assume partial responsibility for managing and operating Hilltop Center and Crest Wellness Center. He will be responsible for the educational, social and cultural programs and services conducted in those and other campus facilities.
Kilcrease has served as associate director of Reeve Memorial Union/director of University Dining and Retail Services at UW-Oshkosh since 1999, and has been associate director of that student union since 1996. He joined UW-Oshkosh's staff in 1995 as assistant director of Reeve Memorial Union.
Prior to his work at UW-Oshkosh, Kilcrease was director of student activities and Greek life from 1991-95 at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.
Kilcrease earned his undergraduate degree from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Ark., and his master's from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kan.
