UW-Eau Claire Announces
Psychology Student Awards

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire recently announced the names of students who were recognized with scholarships or awards from the psychology department for the 2001-02 school year.

• May 2002 graduate Kathryn Hamilton, Onalaska, won a $200 Outstanding Graduating Senior Award.

• Ellie Mauel, Berlin, won a $200 Vicki T. Harry Scholarship awarded to an outstanding junior with one year of service or employment experience and career goals related to serving individuals with exceptional needs.

• December 2001 graduate Bethany Raiff, Milwaukee, won a $100 Outstanding Research Award.

• December 2001 graduate Christina Chrouser, Butternut, won a $100 Outstanding Service to the Community Award.

• December 2001 graduate Jamie Dake, Eau Claire, won a $100 Outstanding Service to the Department Award.

• Sophomore Lisa Nackers, Kaukauna, won a $50 Outstanding Early Achievement Award.

• Sophomore Daniel Hehli, Eau Claire, also won a $50 Outstanding Early Achievement Award.

         The following students were awarded certificates of recognition:

• May 2002 graduate Jennifer Gross, Oshkosh, was recognized with an Excellence in Research and Service Award.

• Senior Meredith Yunek, Wausau, was recognized with an Excellence in Service to the Community Award.

• Freshman Krista Steinmetz, Chippewa Falls, was recognized with an Early Achievement Excellence Award.

• Freshman Andrew Kwilasz, Cedarburg, also was recognized with an Early Achievement Excellence Award.
