EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jazz Ensemble II will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The ensemble, directed by Gregory Keel, associate lecturer of music and theatre arts, will perform a variety of works beginning with "A Night in Tunisia" by Dizzy Gillespie and arranged by Bob Ojeda.
Various other works will be performed, including "Come What May" by Matt Harris, "Mr. Smoke" by Patrick Williams and "Cat Walk" by Gerry Mulligan.
A variety of student soloists will be featured throughout the concert.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727 or 1-800-949-UWEC, are $3.75 for the general public; $2.75 for those 62 and older, children 17 and younger and faculty and staff with a university ID; and free for students with a university ID.
