Chinese 18 Postures II, Acu-Yoga

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is offering evening classes in Chinese 18 postures and acu-yoga Wednesday nights at the McPhee Physical Education Center.
Chinese 18 postures II is designed for those who have already completed the Chinese 18 postures I class. Basic postures will be reviewed and practiced, and a breathing and stretching routine designed to increase physical stamina, reduce stress and promote wellness will be added each week.
The class runs from 5 to 6 p.m. and will be held April 10, 17, 24 and May 1 in the McPhee dance studio. Course fee is $18 for UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff and $33 for community residents.
Acu-yoga blends traditional hatha yoga postures, breathing focus and access to acupressure and acupuncture points. Body, mind and spirit are all addressed in this three-in-one yoga class offered from 5 to 6:15 p.m. on April 10, 17, 24 and May 1 and 8 in Room 106 of McPhee. Course fee is $22 for UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff and $37 for community residents.
