Stuart Davis to Perform
At UW-Eau Claire April 4-6

         EAU CLAIRE — Performing songwriter Stuart Davis will appear in concert April 4-6 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. His shows will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin of Davies Center.
         Since 1990 Stuart Davis has released 10 albums in 14 countries and performed over 150 concerts a year from Los Angeles to Berlin. His ironic genius for conquering difficult subjects with catchy songs has been heralded internationally and recognized with a 2000 Minnesota Music Award.
         The Saint Paul Pioneer Press called Davis "an ambitious, thoroughly satisfying, gifted songwriter. When Davis' acoustic guitar and mellifluous voice pontificates on the modern world, it does so with superb wit and insight."
         The shows are free and open to all ages; proof of age is required for alcohol purchase. The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
