Visiting Coach-Accompanist to Offer
Master Classes in Voice at UW-Eau Claire

         EAU CLAIRE  The University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire department of music and theatre arts is presenting Los Angeles coach-accompanist Daniel Bridston in two master classes 10 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
         Bridston will coach university music majors in voice as they sing operatic arias and music theatre songs.
         Currently the music director of community programs for the Los Angeles Opera, Bridston performs for more than 26,000 students each year. He also accompanies singers in recital and presents master classes. Bridston taught at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, for ten years and worked as a performance artist in New York.
