UW-Eau Claire to Hold
Discussion on NAFTA

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Center for International Education will sponsor a roundtable discussion, "NAFTA - Seven Years Later," from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, in the Ho-Chunk Room of Davies Center.
         Participants, all international students from Mexico, will discuss whether the unheard of economic and social prosperity promised by politicians on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border seven years ago has been realized. The discussion is free and open to the public and those interested in this issue are encouraged to come and voice their opinions.
         Sophomore Avisha Nair is co-coordinating the discussion with Dr. Rose-Marie Avin, professor of economics, who will also serve as facilitator.
