         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Feb. 11. All events are free and open to the public.

SUNDAY, FEB. 17:

• Cellist Paula Kosower, a guest artist at UW-Eau Claire, will perform a recital at 2 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Kosower will perform four works, including a jazz work titled "Buffing the Gut" by B. Boone and Suite No. 2 in d minor by J.S. Bach.
  
• Pianist Donald Patterson, professor of music and theatre arts, will perform a recital at 4 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The performance will include the work of various composers, including Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert.
