Vocal Jazz To Perform
Concert on Dec. 4

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform a fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Two ensembles groups will perform under the direction of Daniel Newman, associate professor of music and theatre arts.
         "The Big E C" will perform six selections, including Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars" and "The Christmas Song" arranged by Gene Puerling.
         "The Last Call" will perform seven selections, including Anders Edenroth's "Chili Con Carne," "There Will Never Be Another You" arranged by Anders Jalkeus, and Take Six's arrangement of "O Come All Ye Faithful."
         Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727 or 1-800-949-UWEC, are $3.75 for the general public; $2.75 for those 62 and older, children 17 and younger, and faculty and staff with a university ID; and free for students with a university ID.
