EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Fall Short Play Festival will take place in Kjer Theatre Friday, Nov. 16, and Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 19-20.
The following plays will be performed from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 19:
"Blind Date" by Horton Foote - Directed by senior Heather Cook, Eau Claire; and performed by senior Adam Keepman, Oconomowoc, junior Monica Raymond, Wausau, sophomore Sara Danke, Wales, and freshman Jacob Dougherty, Menomonee Falls.
"A Betrothal" by Lanford Wilson - Directed by senior Brian Benson, Rhinelander; and performed by junior Mauricio Alessandro Urusquieta, North Prairie, and freshmen Sarah Brand, Great Britain.
"Three Parsons" by Gerty Agoston - Directed by senior Laura Malischke, Wauwatosa; and performed by junior Steve Wilson, McFarland, and freshmen Dougherty and Corey Schneidewent, Oconomowoc.
The following plays will be performed from 8 to 10 p.m. on Nov. 16 and from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 20.
"Finger Food" by Nina Shengold - Directed by junior Colleen Giles, Eau Claire; and performed by sophomores Eric Traxler, Eau Claire, and Anna Figlesthaler, Fox Point.
"Wildwood Park" by Doug Wright - Directed by junior Nicole Kittle, Mound Minn.; and performed by seniors Jane Plank, St. Louis Park, Minn., and Rob Vanderloop, Kaukauna.
"Acorn" by David Graziano - Directed by junior Emily McPeck, Clayton; and performed by seniors Jody Gross, Gleason, and Tony Brown, Plymouth.
The following plays will be performed from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 19 and from 8 to10 p.m. Nov. 20.
"The American Century" by Murphy Guyer - Directed by senior Erin Conery, Beloit; and performed by senior Matt Simmons, Madison, junior Jared Pierce, Whitewater, and freshmen Leahkim Gannett, Stockholm.
"Elegy for a Lady" by Arthur Miller - Directed by senior Anne Marie Weisensel, Green Bay; and performed by senior Amanda Schumacher, Peshtigo, and freshmen Paul Bleier, Wautoma.
"A Life With No Joy in it" by David Mamet - Directed by senior David Harks, Plymouth; and performed by seniors Rob Susedik, Eau Claire, and Hannah Swanson, Washburn.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, or at the door, are $2 per two-hour set.
