University Service Organization Continues
Tradition with Annual Gift of Love Program

MAILED: Nov. 15, 2001

EAU CLAIRE  Circle K, a university service organization, will hold its eighth annual Gift of Love food and clothing drive Nov. 26 through Dec. 8.
The program encourages students, staff and faculty members to help provide local families with non-perishable food items and essential winter clothing such as coats, hats, mittens, scarves and other miscellaneous clothing items. Gifts of toys, blankets and monetary donations are also encouraged and accepted. The Salvation Army will distribute the food, toys, and new or used clothing to families in need during the holidays.
Donations will be accepted at Kerms Super Foods on Water Street from Monday, Nov. 26, through Friday, Dec. 8, and at Burger King in Davies Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, through Thursday, Nov. 29.
The local Circle K club is one of many in Circle K International, which is a sponsored youth organization of Kiwanis International. Its primary purpose is to provide volunteer service to both the campus and local community and to develop the leadership skills of club members.
