Jazz II to Perform
Fall Concert Nov. 15

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jazz Ensemble II will perform its fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. One of four jazz ensembles at UW-Eau Claire, Jazz II is under the direction of associate lecturer of music and theatre arts Gregory Keel.
         The concert will include 12 works by various artists, including "My Old Flame" arranged by Marty Paich, "Lazy Bird" by John Coltrane, arranged by Bill Stapleton, and "Good News" written and arranged by Bob Mintzer. Various student soloists will be featured throughout the concert.
         Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727 or 1-800-949-UWEC, are $3.75 for the general public; $2.75 for those 62 and older and children 17 and younger, and faculty or staff with a university ID; and free for students with a university ID.
