UW-Eau Claire's Veterans Club
To Host Veteran's Day Speakers

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Veterans Club will host its 8th annual Veterans Day Program at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in Schofield Auditorium.
         This year's theme is "Supporting America." The public is invited to attend.
         Featured speakers for the program will be Moose Speros, secretary of tourism in Wisconsin and an Air Force and Navy veteran; Captain Gary Thompson, Wisconsin Army National Guard veteran; David Backstrom, director of the UW-Eau Claire Office of Public Safety; and Clif Sorenson, from the Eau Claire County Veterans Services.
         The program also will feature the Volk Field Honor Guard and Chaplain Bruce Fredrickson.
