Chicago Blues Artist to Perform
Free Concerts at UW-Eau Claire

MAILED: Nov. 2, 2001

EAU CLAIRE  Chicago-area blues artist Keith Scott will perform three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Nov. 15-17.
The singer-songwriter will begin his shows at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin of Davies Center.
From South Florida to Chicago, Keith Scott has mastered the art of the blues guitar. With a voice bearing an eerie likeness to that of late guitar virtuoso Jimi Hendrix, Scott tears into the blues with abandon. Recently his music has been featured on MTV's "Road Rules" and the Disney Channel's "Z-Games," and his band has performed at the House of Blues and Taste of Chicago. His style is based on traditional ingredients of Chicago blues enriched with blues-rock elements.
The concerts are open to all ages. Soft drinks, domestic and imported beer, wine coolers and popcorn will be sold. Proof of age is required for alcohol purchases.
The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
