New UW-Eau Claire Foundation
Web Site Goes Live

EAU CLAIRE — The University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation has announced the posting of its recently
renovated Web site. The new site, which went live on Oct. 26, replaces a 3-year-old site and includes many
changes and improvements.
The UW-Eau Claire Foundation actively seeks
private financial support for the university's programs. The new Web site is
particularly important as the Foundation prepares to publicly announce an
unprecedented multi-year comprehensive fund-raising campaign next year, said
Carole Halberg, Foundation president.
The site has been given a new look that
incorporates the Foundation's new logo and that complements the written
materials being created for the campaign. The site's new features include:
- An up-front "how-to-give" section.
- A section featuring examples of generous gifts and what
those gifts have done.
- More in-depth information about the ways to give.
- A prominent "contribute now" option on every
page and a linking online donation form that can be submitted
instantaneously.
- Complete information about the Foundation's
donor-recognition programs.
- An up-to-date listing of Foundation board members.
- Contact information,
including phone numbers and e-mail addresses, for all Foundation staff.
"The Web site will be an important communication tool throughout the
duration of the campaign and beyond - one more way we can tell the story of
the opportunities the foundation provides for students and faculty by linking
interested donors with university priorities," Halberg said.
