Foot and Nail Care Clinic in Hayward![]()

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education will present a two-day program, "Foot and Nail Care: Education for Nurses," Thursday, Nov. 8 and Friday, Nov. 9 at the Hayward Memorial Hospital education classroom.
Registered nurses will learn nail care and management as well as identification of common conditions of the skin and nails. Tara Buescher, a nationally certified gerontologist nurse specialist with the Howard Young Clinic in Woodruff, will be the program instructor.
Community volunteers are needed on Friday, Nov. 9, to receive free foot care and nail trimming from nurses participating in the course. Appointments will be offered between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes. Free parking is available at the site.
