UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education
Offers Evening and Weekend Classes

         EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will continue offering their Saturday Samplers and Evening Endeavors classes throughout November.
        “Buying a Computer,” will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. Participants will learn how to assess their computer needs, learn computer hardware terminology and how to buy a computer to fit their needs. Course fee is $30.
        Thinking of buying a digital camera but need a better understanding of what it can and can't do? “Digital Cameras and Photography,” a hands-on workshop, will give practical tips on how to use a digital camera. The $30 workshop is offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov.13.
        Looking for a new hobby? Interested in making homemade gifts or looking for the right accessory for an outfit? “Beading Jewelry,” offered from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, will teach basic beading techniques. The demonstration cost is $50.
        For more information or to register for any of the workshops, call the Continuing Education office at (715) 836-3636. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deadline is two weeks before the start of each workshop.
