EAU CLAIRE — The dining
services contractor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has been named a
regional Center of Excellence by Chartwells educational dining services. This is
only the third time the award has been presented in the 11-state, 90-school
Midwest region, recognizing UW-Eau Claire’s dining service as one of the
company’s elite.
A subsidiary of Compass Group’s North American
division, Chartwells holds 220 higher education accounts in the United States.
The Centers of Excellence ensure proper management
training on Chartwells’ programs, concepts and brand standards, facilitating
consistent quality assurance standards throughout the corporation’s business
locations. Award winners showcase the best of Chartwells for sales and business
development visitations and serve to market the company’s selling points.
Chartwells is responsible for UW-Eau Claire’s board and
catered dining services and has retail operations in Davies Center, Crest
Wellness Center, Haas Fine Arts Center and Hilltop Center.
UW-Eau Claire’s dining services program is administered
by University Centers and Programs.
