EAU CLAIRE—The Society of
Participating Honor Students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has
awarded scholarships to two UW-Eau Claire sophomores, Michelle Washebek and
Shelley Berg.
Washebek, a comprehensive social work major from
Wausau,
and Berg, a communication major from Eau Claire, will each receive a $100
scholarship for the spring of 2001.
SOPHS awards its annual scholarships to full-time UW-Eau
Claire sophomores who demonstrate academic achievement and volunteer initiative
and effort in their collegiate careers. To be considered for a SOPHS
scholarship, students must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.2 on
a 4.0 scale.
