EAU CLAIRE— The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Symphonic Choir
will perform a Spring Concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in Gantner Concert Hall
of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The choir, conducted by Stephen Rosolack, will perform
nine works, three by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and six by Franz Joseph Haydn.
The concert
will begin with “Kyrie Eleison” by Haydn. Various other works will be
performed, including “The Gradual Psalm” and “Offertory” by Mozart and
“Sanctus” and “Benedictus” by Haydn.
The Symphonic
Choir is a large ensemble of men and women from the UW-Eau Claire student body,
faculty and staff, and from the Chippewa Valley community. The choir is
dedicated to the rehearsal and performance of great masterworks composed for
chorus, orchestra, and soloists.
Tickets,
available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $4.75 for
adults; $3.75 for those age 62 and older, children 17 and younger, and faculty
and staff with a university ID; or $1.25 for students with a university ID.
