EAU CLAIRE Four regional bands
will perform at a concert to benefit AIDS research on Friday, May 11, at the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The show will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council
Fire Room of Davies Center.
Area artists who will donate their time and talent
include Jeff White and Front Porch (bluegrass blues), Vivian (a local band with
a Radiohead/British sound), The Sarcastics (ska-punk) and Breachless (hard-core
Mr. Bungle-style tunes). Local turntable artist and hip-hop master A-Scratch
will perform onstage between acts.
Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door only.
Proceeds will be donated to the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin. The show is
open to all ages; proof of age is required in the bar area.
The University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire
Student Senate is sponsoring the concert.
