EAU CLAIRE The University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire Concert Dance Company will present its annual spring
concert "Danceworks 2001" at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 4-5, and at
1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, in Kjer Theatre on the UW-Eau Claire campus.
"Danceworks 2001" will feature a wide variety of
dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, African, Middle Eastern and modern.
Dr. Toni Poll-Sorensen, professor of kinesiology and athletics and the
company’s adviser, guest choreographers and several company members have
created the dances in the performance.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center,
(715) 836-3727, are $7 for the public and UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff, $4
for those age 62 and older and 17 and younger, or $3.50 for students with a
university ID.
