UW-Eau Claire Women's Concert Chorale
To Give Spring Concert

         EAU CLAIRE —The University Women's Concert Chorale will perform a spring concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
         The Women's Concert Chorale is under the direction of Stephen Rosolack.
         The concert follows the Chorale's annual Spring Tour, which includes performances April 25-27 at schools in Wisconsin Rapids, Appleton, Pulaski, Ashwaubenon Green Bay, and De Pere.
         The concert will begin with "Lift Thine Eyes (Elijah)" by Felix Mendelssohn. Other selections will include "Come Let Us Start a Joyful Song" by Hans Leo Hassler, "Vocalise" by Ron Nelson and "Laughing Song" by Lloyd Pfautsch, featuring sophomore Rachel Dahl, Appleton, on flute.
         Following an intermission, selections will include "Allegro Ben Ritmito e Deciso" by George Gershwin; "The River is Wide" arranged by John C. Phillips; "Heart We Will Forget Him" by James Molholland, with junior Jill Johnson, Wisconsin Rapids, on horn; "River in Judea" by Jack Feldman, arranged by John Leavitt; "Two Jewels of Vienna" arranged by Michael Cunningham, professor of music and theater arts; and "The Rhythm of Life (Sweet Charity) by Cy Coleman, arranged by Richard Barnes and accompanied on piano by senior Ondra Williams, Clinton, and junior Kimberly Gregerson, Maplewood, Minn.
         Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $4.75 for adults; $3.75 for those age 62 and older, children 17 and younger, and faculty or staff with a university ID; or $1.25 for students with a university ID.
