EAU CLAIRE —The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing will sponsor the seventh annual jail health care conference, "Beyond the Band-Aids: Quality Health Care Behind Bars," at the Kalahari Resort Convention Center, Wisconsin Dells.
       The conference will meet from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, and from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Thursday, May 10.
       The conference targets jail nurses, jail administrators, sheriffs, juvenile detention facility administrators, local health department staff members, prison health care staff and other correctional staff.
       Cost for the conference is $55. Participants may earn up to 14.3 continuing education contact hours.
       Registration deadline is April 27.
