Jazz Ensemble II
To Perform April 25

          EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Jazz Ensemble II will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
          The ensemble, conducted by associate professor of music and theatre arts Ron Keezer, will perform a variety of works, including Duke Ellington’s “Low Key Lightly” and Wayne Shorter’s “Footprints.”
          Many student soloists will be featured throughout the Ellington-dominated concert, which also will include Ellington’s “Sophisticated Lady” and “Anatomy of Murder” and Billy Byers’ “Doodle-Oodle.”
          Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $3.75 for adults; $2.75 for those age 62 and older, children 17 and younger, and faculty or staff with a university ID; or free for students with a university ID.
