EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing and the UW-Eau Claire Delta Phi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau will present the 16th annual Kaleidoscope of Nursing Research from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Davies Theatre and the School of Nursing.
The program promotes the utilization of nursing research through dissemination of research findings.
Dr. Suzanne Van Ort, dean of nursing at the University of Arizona, will present the keynote address titled Adventures in Research-Based Nursing Practice: Visions of Nursing Leadership.
A reception honoring Van Ort, former dean of the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing, will follow the program at 4 p.m. in Davies Center.
Cost for the program is $35 for faculty and the public, $15 for UW-Eau Claire graduate nursing students and $7.50 for UW-Eau Claire undergraduate nursing students. All costs include a book of abstracts and refreshments. Participants may earn 5.5 continuing education contact hours.
Registration deadline is April 12.
