EAU CLAIRE
Chicago-area multi-instrumentalist Kraig Kenning will perform three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire April 5-7.
The singer-songwriter will begin his shows at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin, Davies Center.
Hammering down more than 300 dates a year, Kenning is emerging as a major talent in Chicagos fiercely competitive music scene. He performs original roots rock on slide guitar and dobro, blending acoustic rock and country-flavored songs with reggae and blues. His eclectic sound has led to prestigious appearances throughout the Midwest and performances with Sonny Landreth and Charlie Daniels.
The shows are open to all ages. Proof of age is required for alcohol purchase.
The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate. -30- JS/BW
