EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing will present “The ABCs of Hepatitis and a ‘Catch Up’ on Immunizations” Wednesday, April 4.
          The program, which targets health care professionals, will offer up-to-date recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for adult and pediatric immunizations and for vaccination techniques and vaccine safety.
          Lynn Bahta, public health nurse and educator with Immunization Action Coalition/Hepatitis B Coalition, St. Paul, Minn., will present the program.
          The program will be presented from 5 to 8:50 p.m. in Room 114 of the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing. Participants also may view the live presentation via satellite in Room 111 of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. When participants register, they should indicate where they plan to attend.
          Cost for the program is $50, which includes instructional materials, refreshments and a box lunch. Participants may earn four continuing education contact hours, and the program organizer has applied for Department of Public Instruction clock hours.
          Registration deadline is March 20.
