EAU CLAIRE The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, March 5. All events are free and open to the public.
SUNDAY, March 11:
- Michael Cunningham, professor of music and theatre arts, will perform a concert titled Choral Works, Duets and a Trio at 7:30 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. A variety of works composed by Cunningham will be performed, including Salute to Debussy, Op. 209, and Motet: Come Holy Spirit, Op. 67a. Faculty members and students assisting with the performance include the following: professors of music and theatre arts Dr. Richard Fletcher, Ivar Lunde Jr. and Dr. Barbara Wimunc-Pearson; associate lecturers of music and theatre arts Andrew Parks and Paula Smith; senior lecturer of music and theatre arts Dr. Kristine Fletcher; seniors Jill Grehn, Ashland, Kristen Novak, Manitowoc, Kevin Bartig, Wausau, and Tom Anderson, Aitkin, Minn.; juniors Michael Roesch, Eau Claire, and Angela Nies, De Pere; sophomore Jacob Karkula, St. Anthony, Minn; freshman Christopher Raddatz, Wisconsin Rapids, and 1977 UW-Eau Claire graduate Nick Seeger. Phu Mu Alpha, the men's professional music fraternity, and the Nova Consort, a small chorus of students, also will perform.
