EAU CLAIRE The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, March 12. All events are free and open to the public.
WEDNESDAY, March 14:
- The Wisconsin Woodwind Quintet, a resident faculty ensemble, will perform at 7:30 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The quintet consists of associate professor of music and theatre arts Dr. Tim Lane, flute; professor of music and theatre arts Ivar Lunde Jr., oboe; senior lecturer of music and theatre arts Dr. Kristine Fletcher, bassoon; professor of music and theatre arts Dr. Richard Fletcher, clarinet; and associate lecturer of music and theatre arts Andrew Parks, horn. Dr. Beverly Soll, performing arts and special events coordinator, will provide accompaniment on the piano, and senior Toby Yatso, Ashwaubenon, will assist on the bassoon. The group will perform three works, including Lundes Transformations: Quintet for Woodwinds, Op. 112.
