EAU CLAIRE The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Feb. 26. All events are free and open to the public.
MONDAY, Feb. 26:
- Clarinetist Laura Miller, a junior from Bloomington, Minn., and bassoonist Beth Scherer, a sophomore from Appleton, will give a recital at 5 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. Community member Lori Cruciani will provide accompaniment on the piano, and freshman Kelli Hanson, Duluth, Minn., will assist on the bassoon. The program will consist of six works, including Paul Hindemith's Sonate, Franz Vinzenz Krommer's Concerto in E flat major, and Benedetto Marcello's Sonata in A minor.
