EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda will sponsor the Special Olympics Mile of Quarters Feb. 26-March 1.
          Phi Beta Lambda hopes to collect enough money — in quarters or other monetary units — to reach the equivalent of a mile of quarters. All funds raised will be donated to Indianhead Special Olympics.
          In past years Phi Beta Lambda has raised around $200 for Special Olympics. This year the group hopes to raise $250, said Phi Beta Lambda treasurer Robert Shaw.
          A booth will be set up in the East Lobby of Davies Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26-Thursday, March 1.
          UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students, as well as Eau Claire community members, are invited to stop by to make donations.
