EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing will offer a course titled Health Assessment of Adults in two program sections, one on weekends and one on Fridays.
The course is designed to enhance nurses health assessment skills. Classes include lectures, discussions, demonstrations and guided practice by students.
The weekend course will meet Feb. 10-11 and 24-25, and the Friday course will meet March 30, April 20 and May 4 and 11. All classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing.
Mary Ellen Stolder, adult nurse practitioner and interim program manager, will instruct the weekend classes, and Karen Danielson, associate professor of family health nursing, will instruct the Friday classes.
The course costs $210, which includes instructional materials and refreshments. Participants may earn 28 continuing education contact hours.
Registration deadlines are Feb. 1 for the weekend course and March 15 for the Friday course.
