The Educational Opportunity Center on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus will offer a free workshop for Osseo area adults investigating career change. The workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Community Room of the Bank of Mondovi in Osseo.
During the program, What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up? (for Grownups), EOC counselors will assist participants with self-assessment in the career planning process in an interactive and fun format. At the conclusion of the presentation, participants will have an idea of the career cluster they should focus on to achieve satisfaction in their work and the type of training they need to reach their goal. They also may follow up with individual appointments to explore specific training programs.
The program is open to the public. For more information or to register, call toll free 800-335-3113.
EOC programs are supported by a U.S. Department of Education grant. -30- DW/RES
