EAU CLAIRE
High school seniors planning to attend post-secondary schools are invited to attend Financial Aid Night Thursday, Jan. 11, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The free briefing, hosted by UW-Eau Claire, Chippewa Valley Technical College and the Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Program office in Eau Claire, is open to students and parents. The program will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium at UW-Eau Claire.
On hand to talk with students, who can substitute the briefing for individual consultations at the schools, will be financial aid representatives Mary Gorud of CVTC, Steve Zantow of UW-Eau Claire and Bonnie Dockry of Eau Claires Wisconsin EOP.
The participants will discuss how financial aid is calculated, various types of financial aid, such as state grants, federal grants/employment and loans, and application procedures.
