MAILED: Dec. 22, 2000
A career counselor from the Educational Opportunity Center located on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus will accept appointments for Wednesday, Jan. 3, in the Mondovi and Durand areas.
The EOC provides information and counseling services free of charge to community adults. Individualized counseling includes career assessment and selection; investigation of training opportunities; and help with admissions, financial aid, and registration procedures. The counselor will use local labor market information to show where job growth will be and will explore a variety of training options such as certificate programs and one-, two- and four-year degrees.
The EOC counselor will meet with individuals at convenient locations in each community, to be determined when the appointment is scheduled. Call toll free 800-335-3113 to make an appointment.
EOC programs are funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant.
