EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire School of Nursing will offer a continuing education cruise to the Western Caribbean March 17-24, 2001.
The cruise, aboard the Princess Cruises vessel Sea Princess, will feature 14 hours of continuing education presented by CeCelia R. Zorn, professor in the department of Nursing Systems at UW-Eau Claire. Zorns program titled Scholarly Writing at Sea: Putting Your Nursing Ideas on Paper is designed to strengthen nurses writing skills. Her presentation will include information on summarizing, synthesizing, critiquing, paper organization, grammar improvement, American Psychological Association format and writing for publication. The seminar fee is $225 for UW-Eau Claire alumni and $250 for non-alumni.
The cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 17 at 7 p.m. and visit Princess Cays (Princess Cruises private island) in the Bahamas, Ocho Rios in Jamaica and Grand Cayman and Cozumel in Mexico. The vessel will return to Fort Lauderdale March 24. Costs for the cruise start at $799 per person, based on double occupancy.
