EAU CLAIRE
Nicaragua: Issues and Perspectives in the Heart of Central America is the title of an International Roundtable presentation to take place Monday, Dec. 4, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The discussion of social, economic and cultural aspects of life in Nicaragua will begin at 4 p.m. in the Ojibwa Room of Davies Center. Admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
Dr. Rose-Marie Avin, UW-Eau Claire professor of economics, will facilitate the discussion. Panelists will include UW-Eau Claire students junior Alejandra Cabezas and freshman Yulia Lin, as well as community member Mark Aumann.
The International Roundtable is cosponsored by the Center for International Education and the University Activities Commission of the Student Senate. -30- JS/BW
