EAU CLAIRE
While their children enjoy story hour at the Marshfield Public Library, parents are invited to attend a free program for adults who are thinking about a career change.
Career counselors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claires Educational Opportunity Center will be available 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, before, during and after the 10-10:30 a.m. story time at Marshfield Public Library. EOC staff will offer a brief career exploration exercise and information about the local labor market, area colleges and universities, and financial aid resources.
Anyone who is unable to attend the story time program may schedule an individual appointment with a career counselor between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Marshfield Public Library. Individual appointments also are available on other dates. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 715-836-2024.
EOC programs are funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant and are provided free of charge.
