EAU CLAIRE — The Wallflowers will appear in concert Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Zorn Arena. An opening act will be announced at a later date.
          Concert tickets go on sale to the public Saturday, Nov. 4. A special advance sale for UW-Eau Claire students only will take place Thursday-Friday, Nov. 2-3. Tickets will be sold only at the University Service Center windows, and purchasers must present a valid UW-Eau Claire student ID card. No more than eight tickets will be sold to each UW-Eau Claire student.
          Reserved seating tickets are $23.50 (including service fee and tax) at the University Service Center in Davies Center. Service Center hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
          Beginning Nov. 4, tickets may be charged to MasterCard or Visa when ordered by phone. Call (715) 836-3727 — or, outside the immediate Eau Claire area, call toll-free (800) 949-UWEC. A $3 handling fee will be added to all telephone charge orders.
          The concert is sponsored by Event Resources Presents Inc. and the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
